ASEEM portal- ASEEM is an online portal launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to assist skilled individuals in finding sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Beyond enabling businesses to recruit a skilled workforce that spurs economic growth, the AI-based platform can guide them in acquiring skills relevant to the sector and in exploring emerging employment opportunities, particularly in the post-COVID era.
Jan Shikshan Sansthan- Founded in 1988, Jan Shikshan Sansthan (formerly known as Shramik Vidyapeeth) identifies skills that can be marketable to illiterate, neo-literate as well as school dropouts by identifying the marketable skills in the region of their establishment.
In July-2018, the Jan Shikshan Sansthan scheme was transferred to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
National Skill Development Mission- A lifelong learning framework should be created that enables end-to-end skill development. The program should integrate skills and provide opportunities for quality skills in the long and short term Our aim is to provide training and employment for our trainees as well as ensure their career goals are met.
National Portal for Trainers and Assessors- As part of the Skill India mission, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has launched the National Takshashila Portal for Trainers and Assessors. Managed through the portal are trainers and assessors. Through the portal, SSCs will be able to view the schedules of SSC trainers and assessors. They will also be able to search for an archive of trained trainers and assessors.
Social Security
Atal Pension Yojana (APY)- With the Atal Pension Yojana (APY), the working poor will be able to guarantee their risks related to retirement income and the longevity of the non-union workforce will be taken into account. Employees in unorganized sectors are encouraged to contribute to retirement on their own initiative. Since June 2015, the government has been implementing the scheme. YY replaces the NPS Lite and Swavalamban Yojana programs.
Central Victim Compensation Fund scheme(CVCF)- In an effort to provide support for victims of rape, acid attacks, human trafficking, and deaths or injuries in the cross-border shootings, the government has established the Central Victim Compensation Fund (CVCF), beginning with a corpus of Rs 200 crores. State governments have so far paid compensation ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 10 lakh with an absurd disparity.
Employees’ State Insurance Scheme- A social security system of the Employees' State Insurance Scheme of India provides socio-economic protection to the workers and their dependents.
The inauguration of the scheme took place in Kanpur on 24th February 1952. As part of this multifaceted social security program, the Employees' State Insurance Corporation serves as the apex corporate body.
